President


 

Matt Andrew first moved to Bozeman area in 1994. After a few brief side-trips to MN and WA, as an avid skier and hiker Matt moved back in 2001. Matt brings international consulting experience working in Germany, UK, India, and Japan. Matt’s consulting focused primarily on strategic business process improvement and the adoption and implementation of technology solutions. Matt attended a private secondary boarding school in Faribault, MN and received a BA in Economics from the University of St. Thomas, a private university. Matt brings to the board a lifelong love for and a strong belief in private education, strategic long-range planning, and a background of facilitating and implementing solutions for continuous improvement. Matt and his wife have 2 boys enrolled in the Lower Elementary School.

 

Vice-President 


 

Eric Mittelsteadt has a B.A. in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and has small-farm experience with growing produce and raising small livestuck such as llamas, goats, sheep, and chickens.  Eric is self-employed in retail sales and marketing consulting, and has international sales experience including Central and South America and Central Europe.  Eric is an avid cross country skier and a PSIA Certified Nordic Ski Instructor and rock climbing instructor.  Eric and his family enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling, camping, and photography. 

 

  

Secretary 


 

Mike Lynch is a full-time, stay-at-home dad.  Mike received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware and brings a broad base of experience spanning nonprofit fundraising development, historic renovation contracting, and corporate communications and business development. He is also a member of the Bozeman-based Parent Place’s Parent Advisory Board.  Mike and his wife, Suzanne, moved to Bozeman in 2007, and currently have one of their two daughters attending Middle Creek Montessori. 

 

  

Treasurer 


 

Jeff Trom brings extensive experience in finance and technology to the school. With a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, he spent several years consulting and 13 years helping to grow an engineering startup company to public status. He served many roles during that time including CTO and board member. Jeff and his wife have three children at Middle Creek Montessori.

Laura Roe and her husband, Dave, have lived in Bozeman since 1996. Laura earned a B.A. in History from the Colorado College and her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Laura’s veterinary practice focuses on holistic medicine including acupuncture, herbal therapy, and whole food nutrition. Laura and Dave have two daughters who attend Middle Creek Montessori and one daughter who has transitioned to the public school system after six years of montessori education. Laura brings to the board her passion for quality education and commitment to developing the best learning environment Middle Creek Montessori can offer.

Leesa Gregory and her husband Gordon, have been part of Middle Creek's family since 2006 when their daughter joined the Pre-Primary classroom. Originally from Virginia, Leesa moved to Bozeman from San Francisco in 2001. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University and a J.D. from University of Montana School of Law. Leesa works as corporate counsel for Zoot Enterprises, a software company in Four Corners, and in her free time enjoys running, reading and cross-country skiing.
